We understand that sometimes life gets in the way. However, Wink is a free service, and should only be used by those who are dutiful in maintaining their complimentary account.
To avoid a potential graveyard of abandoned accounts, all subdirectory accounts must update once a quarter. Our quarters follow the calendar year, no matter what date you opened your account:
- January-February-March
- April-May-June
- July-August-September
- October-November-December
To avoid a strike against your account, simply post a blog. This lets our review team know that you have an active account.
Feel free to use this template if you don’t have anything new to share with your readers:
Nothing new to report, but all's well.
If we discover that you haven’t updated within the last three months, you’ll receive a warning via the email address that you have on file.
Respond within 2 weeks, acknowledging you’re aware of the issue and that you’ve posted an update by including the URL to the blog post. Our team will visit the URL to confirm and acknowledge that you’re good to go.
Your strikes do not reset. We’ll make notes on your account to track this data accurately and fairly.
On your next strike, we’ll disable your account. You’ll then have 30 days to respond to that email to reactivate your account. If you don’t respond within that time frame, we will permanently delete your account.
Backups aren’t provided.
